Hawaii Association of Nurserymen
The Hawaii Association of Nurserymen was first organized by some very progressive farmers who foresaw the need for an
association that would not only promote their products and increase sales, but also educate and facilitate their cooperation with
governmental agencies. The side benefit would be the camaraderie fostered when like-minded businessmen focus on a common mission. In the
past, HAN has co-sponsored trade shows, seminars and educational conferences.
Although our focus remains the same today, the green industry has grown astronomically. We still sponsor seminars on
issues that are pertinent to the problems farmers face in the field and the business arena. However, we are also concerned with the
unification of the nursery and landscape industry as a whole. To this end the Hawaii Association of Nurserymen may be undergoing some
changes in the future. And this we find exciting.
