LICH Training Courses
Whether you’re a new or experienced landscape technician, you can benefit from LICH’s Certified Landscape Technician training programs.
We offer basic education in landscape maintenance as well as advanced certification preparatory classes, irrigation instruction and more.
Community Colleges on Kauai, Maui and Hawaii and UH Manoa are all involved in administering the CLT and basic landscape classes.
The landscape maintenance sessions consist of 12 to 13 individual classes dealing with various specific aspects of maintenance and
irrigation repair. These sessions are offered several times a year on Oahu at various locations, and once a year in Kona, Kauai and Maui.
A separate Irrigation School is offered once a year on Oahu and in Kona. This is a two-day session, which covers irrigation topics in
much greater detail and is intended for the more experienced landscape irrigation professional.
A two day training session for interior plant maintenance, in preparation for the CLT/Interior exam, is offered annually at the LICH
Green Industry Conference in April. The certification exam is offered as a part of this program. Please call 956-2150 for details or
